This is the official community gathering place and information resource for the OASIS UBL (ISO/IEC 19845) International Standard. UBL defines a royalty-free library of standard electronic XML business documents such as purchase orders and invoices.
This is a community-driven site, and the public is encouraged to contribute content. Find the appropriate area to contribute to by hovering your pointer over the site area titles listed in orange banner above. This will briefly reveal the area description in a small pop-up box. For more detail, please see our policies and descriptions regarding posting content to certain areas.
In order to receive email notifications of posts to this site, please click top-right on your username next to "Logged in as:", or bottom-right "My account", in order to get to your account page. Go to the "Subscriptions" tab and you'll see 5 different sub-areas. The "categories" and "content types" sub-areas have a number of check-boxes. New free validation service for all UBL-formats recommended by SFTI

The Swedish government's Single Face to Industry (SFTI) programme have launched a free validation service for their recommended XML-formats including the UBL Invoice profiles for the PEPPOL BIS-formats (which they call Svehandel) plus additional legacy formats used in Sweden such as Svefaktura 1.0.

El gobierno español ha decretado que la nueva versión de la Factura Telemática en España se utilice el formato UBL en la versión 2.1., lo que permite estandarizar el envío de las facturas electrónicas a la dependencias de Gobierno, y que a su vez les permite lograr la homogeneidad de la información que anteriormente no estaba estructurada por un formato electrónico universal.

UBL 2.0 es utilizado en América por primera vez para integrar la Factura Electrónica en Perú.
De acuerdo a la publicación de la SUNAT (Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administración Tributaria) la Factura Electrónica en Perú es de manera obligatoria para todos los contribuyentes y las especificaciones técnicas de los documentos tributarios electrónicos como:

The returns seem so tenuous. The challenges are complex and the frustrations irritating.

Huh? UBL? This question aroused the curiosity of Dutch motorists this summer.
Dutch ERP company Yuki (https://www.yuki.nl) were so proud to announce their facility for electronic invoicing in the OASIS UBL format that they ran a two-week billboard campaign around the ten largest cities in the Netherlands.
