This is the official community gathering place and information resource for the OASIS UBL (ISO/IEC 19845) International Standard. UBL defines a royalty-free library of standard electronic XML business documents such as purchase orders and invoices.
This is a community-driven site, and the public is encouraged to contribute content. Find the appropriate area to contribute to by hovering your pointer over the site area titles listed in orange banner above. This will briefly reveal the area description in a small pop-up box. For more detail, please see our policies
and descriptions regarding posting content to certain areas.

Invinet Sistemes has launched B2BRouter.net, an electronic invoicing system that allows companies to issue and receive electronic invoices for free using different formats.
Upon registration, the portal allows users to send and receive UBL 2.0 Invoices and Credit Notes through email to customers and from providers.
For advanced users, it is possible to send invoices to Public Authorities in Europe through the PEPPOL Network or to other proprietary networks.

Cloud based service provider Tradeshift have announced a new partnership with Intuit that will connect the five million businesses who use QuickBooks onto Tradeshift and create the largest network of companies on one platform that the world has ever seen.
The Tradeshift platform is based on OASIS UBL.

By January 1, 2013, the new European VAT Directive regarding the rules on invoicing which enforces equal treatment between paper and electronic invoices, will come into force in all Member States. By this time, all Austrian federal services will be able to receive eInvoices and from January 1st, 2014, all Austrian suppliers (and foreign suppliers that have the technical means) of the Austrian Federal Government are obliged to use eInvoices according to the Austrian ICT consolidation law (IKTKonG).
